Moxie Falls upcountry in the town of The Forks, Maine. At 90 ft +,-, Moxie falls has one of the longest single drops of any waterfall in the state of Maine. This is an HDR shot with my camera set to shoot in monochrome, and tonemapping done in Photomatix Pro.
Featured in the group "Stop time with art".
I live on the mid-coast of Maine, in Blue Hill, just an hour from Acadia National Park, where there are endless photographic opportunities. In fact the whole state of Maine is just a photograph waiting to be captured! Please browse my photos and enjoy - if you see a photo you like, just click on it to see a larger version. Maria Disley
really like your compositions they are a bit different than what we usually see, makes me think more baout getting a different effect when i am composing a photo. :)
Greg DeBeck replied:
Thank you, Maria! Such a nice comment is very much appreciated! I try to get my shots from many different angles, and when shooting monochrome HDR's I usually shoot them in monochrome instead of shooting in color and changing to mono afterward - it creates a whole different effect sometimes.
