Thank you so much Laurie! After dealing with my shoulder all summer, and not really being able to get out and shoot much, it was SO much fun to shoot here!! An added plus - I got to spend some quality time with my two daughters :))) Thank you dear friend!!

Artist's Description

Took a ride up to Moxie Falls, Maine's second highest waterfall, in the Forks, today, with my two daughters, and their significant others. Started out with bright blue skies in Blue Hill, but by the time we got up there (almost a 3 hour drive) it was quite overcast. Would've been nice to have had some sun, but the clouds actually made for better lighting for pictures. Beautiful drive up - route 201 north of Skowhegan is absolutely beautiful this time of year. I remember reading, once, that the road was laid down on an old, very well traveled, Indian trail, which the native people (and white settlers too) used to travel between their summer and winter camps each year. What a paradise it must have been for them - truly God's world!!

Featured in the group "Maine Fine Art Photographers".
